I’m in Edinburgh a lot with work, and always keen to find new places to eat. Last month I was going out for dinner with a customer - my initial suggestion of a restaurant didn’t meet expectations of a local (!), so the Cambridge Bar was suggested as an alternative - with the promise of the best burgers in Edinburgh!
The Cambridge Bar is on Young Street just along from The Oxford Bar. Its a cosy little bar with a great beer selection and an amazing burger menu! You can go with one of their recommendations, or make your own. I went with the MOS (sauteed mushrooms, onions, melted swiss and mayo) with the addition of bacon!
The customer was spot on - easily the best burger I’ve had in Edinburgh! Service was lovely and relaxed as well. Definitately recommend!
