I’ve been staying a lot recently (for work) out near Westfield in Stratford - usually due to the price being very frugal! Normally when I am staying out that way I will eat before heading there, or head back into London instead. This time, I didn’t fancy traveling back into London so thought I’d head back to Haugen for something to eat.
Haugen is a “alpine inspired” restaurant just outside the Olympic Stadium in Stratford. Thankfully on a rainy Tuesday evening I was able to walk in and get a table for one without any problems!
I decided to get the Chicken Schntizel to eat - which was a generous portion and very tasty. I massively over ordered as I also got some mash potatoes and sauted spring greens to go with it - I hadn’t realised that the Schnitzel came with a very tasty slaw.
Definately a nice spot in Stratford, and I would definately recommend visiting there for dinner if in the neighbourhood. Not to pricey either.
Find it on the web at Haugen or on Google Maps.
